Counselling and Therapy Service

Feeling overwhelmed in life?

Maybe at home, at work or in eduaction?

VIGEO - meaning:

“To thrive, flourish, be fruitful & productive in life.”

You may be carrying anxiety, loss, relationship difficulties, burnout, or a quiet sense that something is no longer working as it should. Counselling at Vigeo Life offers a safe, compassionate space to pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of what you are experiencing at home, in life, education or work.

With over 30 years experince in coaching in eduaction and workplaces, now our counselling service is rooted in the belief that people are made to live well, grow well and work well. We recognise that emotional pain, unprocessed experiences, and prolonged pressure can restrict growth and leave people feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves and others. Counselling provides the time and space to explore these experiences gently, without judgement, and at your own pace.

Our Inclusive Ethos

At the heart of our work is a commitment to whole‑person wellbeing and development in life, learning and workplaces. We believe meaningful change happens when people feel deeply heard, accepted, and supported in a space they feel they belong.

Our approach is:

  • Relational – growth begins in a trusting, respectful therapeutic relationship

  • Compassionate – you will be met with empathy, not judgement

  • Reflective – space is given to explore thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns

  • Hope‑filled – even difficult seasons can become places of growth and renewal

  • Adaptive - whatever your identity or needs, such as neurodiverse thinking, ADHD, LGBTQ+, disability or anything else, we aim to find a way of working with you that you will find productive

Counselling at Vigeo Partners is open to people of any faith or none. For those who wish, our work can be informed by Christian based worldviews in understanding growth, fruitfulness, and restoration.

What Counselling Can Help With

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You might be experiencing:

  • A sense of being “stuck” or disconnected from yourself in life, learning, relationships or at work

  • The emotional impact of leadership, caring roles, or long‑term responsibility

  • Anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm

  • Low mood or loss of motivation

  • Burnout or compassion fatigue

  • Relationship or family difficulties

  • Grief, loss, or major life transitions

You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling. Many people come simply because they want to live more fully,

with greater clarity, resilience, and emotional freedom.

Our Counselling Methods:

Counselling at Vigeo Life is a talking - communication therapy, offering a confidential and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings with a trained professional.

Counselling experience is personal to each individual and so we adapt. Instead, we work alongside you to:

  • Understand what is happening beneath the surface

  • Identify patterns that may no longer be serving you

  • Develop insight, self‑compassion, and emotional resilience

  • Support lasting change that grows from understanding rather than pressure

Sessions are collaborative and shaped around your needs. Progress is not rushed. We honour the pace that feels right for you. Our approach is Integrative, meaning we use a combination of evidence-based modes of therapy, choosing approaches in any moment that best suits your needs. Our core approach is person centred, and could also utilise aspects of CBT, psychodynamic or other ethically valid approaches that may seem apprropriate for you.

Who We Work With

We offer counselling for:

  • Adults (18+)

  • Professionals and leaders in any setting

  • Those working in education, care, or helping roles

  • Individuals navigating personal, relational, or vocational challenges

  • We offer therapeutic coaching rather than counselling to people under the age of 18

Counselling can take place online or face‑to‑face, depending on availability and preference.

Taking the First Step

Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, but it is often the first step toward healing, growth, and renewed fruitfulness. If you are unsure whether counselling is right for you, we offer an initial conversation to help you explore your needs and ask any questions.

If you do not feel ready yet, consider exploring our coaching services instead.

You do not have to navigate this season alone. With the right support, it is possible not just to cope, but to thrive, flourish and be fruitful.
