Same Page? - Parents and Staff Understanding of behaviours presented by pupils

Are you frustrated and feeling overwhelmed by the behviours of a pupil in school or at home? You may be a teacher, teaching assistant or a parent, or even have several roles where you respond to children and young people presenting challenging behviours. This course may be for you! Two key aims:

• Intro into a range of strategies that may help you respond to challenging behviours and achieve better results.

• Overview of when staretgies work or don’t work.

• Explore the common issue of home and education setting not experincing the same behviours and therefore feeling out of sync or even frustrated and angry about the feeling of being on a ‘different page’ when it comes to understanding a child/young person.
